The need

Many of Avondale College’s former-refugee students don’t have a personal device, which makes keeping up with schoolwork a real challenge. The school’s daily loan devices are in high demand and not every student can get one.

The laptops created a pool that refugee students can borrow for daily use or longer, depending on their situation, so they can complete assignments, access online resources and build digital skills as they settle into life in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Got a cupboard of old laptops?

You wipe them, we pick them up, and they go straight to a school that has asked for them.
