About this project
Rongotai College has a BYOD policy, but not all families can provide devices. Any device will help, but the school particularly wants to support students whose families can’t afford the high-spec machines that technically demanding subjects need.
Year 13 students in advanced design, photography and media need a relatively powerful device to run the software supplied. For some students this limits their subject choices. Some top students struggle not through lack of effort or knowledge, but because they don’t have the same devices as their peers.
